Hi. I'm new here, hello everyone : )

When I try to connect to irc i have a password error. I put the password of the forums, and I suppose this is wrong ^^;

I suppose too that i need to download the client (and chose the pass there), but i can't dl the client at the moment! (server down ?)

So that's it, please help me! xD

The client should use the same password as the forums... and you need to use that same password via IRC. (if Dange didnt change this that is)

Make sure that your email adress includes the same name as your user name in your irc connect options ?
IE PhalanX@something.com
or vae@something.com
This was my original problem when i 1st tryed joining via IRC

Ok. Now what sux is that I can't dl the client for some mysterious network reason. If someone could send it to me via msn it would be a pleasure to join the community (btw are there lots of players?)

What is the server again?  Dange's link explaining how to connect using mIRC is broken.

Hmm, I havea similar problem with the mIRC where i manage to connect but i then get this

So thats pretty much what my problem is :)

I tried to join the IRC server "taserver.phoenixworx.org" with Trillian - it just won't connect. I'm not sure what's happening but it may have something to do with the fact I can't enter a password in the trillian prefs. Any one who knows how to do it?

im not familiar with that program, but i know a IRC client that can work, mIRC.

Did you ever figure out how to get trillian working?  I suspect it might be able to be done with the Perform Buffer AKA On connection perform these commands.  If someone figures this out let me know.  Or maybe not... Just did a search on trillian help... I found this:
Use the following string as your server in the connection settings:

server.network.net:password:port

For example, irc.chatspike.net:mmmpie:6667. Basically, just put the password between the two colons that separate server and port.

Hope this helps.
Im still working on it.  Ill post if I figure it all out.
