I can't forward the ports, because I don't own the router wherever the hell it is. I'm at university. My PC connects directly to a wall socket. No router. I don't mean "I r nub and can't find teh routz0r!" I mean that I do not HAVE a router, or if there is one it's behind the wall. In which case there is no way my ISP will give me access to it. Ever. Period.
Also, I can't find the DNS servers which appear the same as the Default Gateway. Great. So I can't set up a static IP either.
Basically am I fucked or can I do anything? Can I somehow hack my way into the ISPs router/network and fucking open the ports myself? Can I CHANGE THE PORTS TA USES.
I think there must be a simple way to change the ports a game uses. Why wouldn't there be? I cant imagine no one else has my problem.
