For the port forward router sticky.
No you do not really need to port forward the 2300-2400 range. Just only need TCP 2300 & UDP 2350... plus TCP/UDP 47624 (4 ports in total). Some NAT routers cannot do port ranges (eg. D-Link, DrayTek). If you have a direct conneciton to the internet (no router) then all your ports are open and don't need to forward any ports (assuming software firewall is setup).
So please PW admins correct your sticky post to help relief many players who were unable to host in the past because they could not port forward ranges.
