I run Total Annihilation under Windows XP SP2. Sometimes I like to ALT-TAB switch back to windows - ie to read a walkthrough guide. Now sometimes about 50% of the time, TA would crash. Other 50% of the time it's fine and I can resume gameplay. Anyway get this issue too? How to resolve? Even better, is there a way to run TA in a window?

You can try using "-w" at the end of the link path, this works for some programs but not others.

To do so find your shortcut to totala.exe (or make one)

Right Click > hit properties

find the "start in" field and add -w to the end ex : "c:\\games\totala.exe"-w

if this doesnt work then im not sure.
Do you pause before alt tabbing?
Perhaps that could be an issue (not pausing that is)

Other than that i am not sure, id say check and update all drives just in case but its unlikely.
